Kokkinonero (Thessaly and Central Greece)

Type: Bubbling Water
Description: Series of springs with abundant bubbling gases and red stained by the presence of iron oxides. Kokkinonero means red water. Some of the springs is used as natural sparkling drinking water while others feed bathing pools.
